For decades Rock City Gardens' legacy of barn, billboard and birdhouse advertising has directed motorists up Lookout Mountain to "See Rock City." In 1936, Garnet Carter gave Clark Byers a truck, some paint and a mission: to paint SEE ROCK CITY on every barn he could find. Byers built a miniature barn intending to sell it as a mailbox, but when the U.S. Postal Service wouldn't allow this, he made it into a birdhouse instead. They were soon found outside homes and businesses nationwide, even overseas. See Rock City Birdhouses make the perfect cozy home for a wide variety of birds including the Carolina Wren, Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Chickadee, House Sparrow and Eastern Bluebirds. It will also attract the famous Purple Martin when mounted on a pole in open areas. The official See Rock City Birdhouse is easy to assemble and will make the perfect addition to your home and garden. Color: Red. Material: Plastic.
