This is for all you lovers of surprises who happen to adore dracaenas and enjoy them or want to in your home or garden. This grower's choice offering of a fully rooted plant in a 6 in. pot draws from the bevy of dracaenas we grow, such as Dracaena 'Janet Craig', Dracaena warneckii 'Lemon Lime', Dracaena marginata, Dracaena marginata 'Sun Ray' and Dracaena marginata 'Bicolor'. Dracaenas are some of the easiest houseplants around, tolerating dryness more than most foliage plants and thriving in bright light while tolerating lower light spaces. With their colorful, often strap-like and striped leaves and narrow, upright, sturdy canes, they boast an architectural form that lends itself especially well to contemporary and modern decor styles. Bold, electric greens, yellows and more radiate from a diverse collection of dracaenas. Some will become tree-like with age as the canes develop. Many will look bushier, with more of a clumping or moundy appearance, when young. Most grow best in bright, indirect light, with a few hours of cool sunlight in morning or early evening OK as well. While dracaenas tolerate low light-spaces, they display faster growth and more robust color in bright light. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry or slightly dry. You can feed once or twice a month during spring or summer with houseplant food diluted by half. Dracaenas are happy with average humidity.
